The City of Plano invites you to apply as a Plano police officer.
The Plano Police Department is a nationally accredited law enforcement agency with strong community relationship values. Plano police officers are hired from an eligibility roster consisting of individuals who have successfully passed a police recruit civil service entrance examination. The next exam will occur on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 8:00 AM at Plano West Senior High School (5601 West Parker Road in Plano).
You must pre-register to take the exam.
A registration form and instructions are available at www.planopolice.org. To be eligible to take the exam, a properly completed registration form must be received by the Civil Service Test Administrator before 5:00 PM on Wednesday, April 9, 2008. Follow the instructions. An admission slip will be mailed to you. The admission slip allows you entrance to the exam site.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- be a U.S. citizen
- possess a valid driver's license
- be at least 21 - 45 years of age
