JOB DESCRIPTION
The North Palm Beach Department of Public Safety is currently seeking a certified law enforcement trainer/instructor to join our team. The Department is comprised of thirty two sworn full time officers that serve a small community of 13,000 residents on the east coast of South Florida.
Requirements:
Applicants must be currently certified as a law enforcement officer within the State of Florida or able to obtain comparative compliance from out of state certification.
Applicants must have an extensive background in law enforcement training.
Applicants must have CMS Instructor Techniques, firearms, and other certifications in the areas of defensive tactics, driving, and less than lethal weapons.
Be at least 21 years of age
A United States citizen
Be a non smoker or user of any tobacco products
Have a valid Florida driver’s license (or able to obtain one prior to employment)
Have an honorable discharge from the military (if applicable)
Have good moral character with no felony or misdemeanor convictions
Have not used felony narcotics
Benefits:
Salary range $40,726 +

Intensive background investigation
