JOB DESCRIPTION
Town of Hanna is accepting applications
for Town Marshal / Chief
The Town Marshal will direct, plan and manage all functions and operations of the Marshal's Office in the enforcement of laws and ordinances, the prevention of crime and protection of life and property. The Marshal will direct a staff of approximately 4 sworn and 7 non sworn employees. The Marshal will report to the Mayor and have open communication with the Town government while determining plans and policies to be adhered to in police department operations.
Starting salary is $35,000 to $40,000 dependent on qualifications.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- be a U.S. citizen
- possess a valid driver's license
- Applicant must be Wyoming POST certified OR have the necessary current academy certification to meet Wyoming POST standards
- Applicant will have at least 10 years of law enforcement experience with at least 4 years in a supervisory position.
