JOB DESCRIPTION
The Garland, TX Police Department is looking for individuals seeking an exciting career in law enforcement. We will be accepting applications through Friday, March 14th- please change this to Friday, June 6th, 2008 @5:00pm. The Civil Service Exam date is Saturday, March 29th, 2008 @ 8:00am. –please change this to Saturday, June 21st, 2008 @ 8:00am.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- be a U.S. citizen
- possess a valid driver's license
- be at least 18 - 44 years of age
- 60 or more hours of college credit or an Associates Degree
SELECTION PROCESS

- drug screening test
- background investigation
- medical examination
- physical agility test
- psychological test
