JOB DESCRIPTION
- Basic certification (Oregon or equivalent). May request waiver under certain circumstances.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Be a high school graduate or have passed the GED test.
- Be 21 years of age and be a United States Citizen.
- Possess or be able to obtain a valid Oregon Drivers License and not have excessive traffic violations.
- No felony or domestic violence convictions and very limited criminal history.
- Limited prior drug use.
- Good physical condition relative to the requirements of the job of police officer.

- New sergeant position will be created in 2009
- Immediate opening for regional gang unit Fairview position
- Officer In Charge or Lead Patrol Officer Position being created in 2008
