LATERAL ENTRY OFFICERS - $31,262.00 with increase to $34,360.00 after abbreviated training program. (Certified with minimum 2 years sworn full-time experience required).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- be a U.S. citizen
- possess a valid driver's license; no suspension of driving privileges in the past 3 years and no more than 2 convictions of moving violations in the past 3 years, 3 convictions of moving violations in the past 5 years or 4 convictions of moving violations in the past 7 years
- be at least 21 years of age upon completion of police academy classroom training
- possess a high school diploma or GED (some college preferred) - Transcripts required
- must meet vision, hearing, and other physical requirements
- no felony convictions and no serious misdemeanor convictions in the past five years
- no Domestic Violence convictions/No DUI, DWI convictions in the past ten years
- meet credit requirements (14 points or less) - Equifax Credit Information Service 1-800-685-1111
