JOB DESCRIPTION
Officers will perform the vital public services of preserving the peace, protecting life and property, preventing crime, apprehending criminals, and enforcing the laws and ordinances of the District of Columbia and the United States. After training, Police Officers will be assigned to diverse patrol duties.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- be a U.S. citizen
- possess a valid driver's license
- be at least 21 years of age
- 60 College Credits OR 3 years previous Active Duty Military w/Honorable Discharge OR 5 years previous law enforcement experience w/arrest powers
